Matt Seaman lives on the Gold Coast, and has forged a path to the top of the IT industry. A talented computer programmer and innovator, Matt has worked alongside Australia's leading entrepreneurs. As a core member of an elite technology group, Matt has been part of enterprises which have grown from 10 people to 500 people in merely three years. Successes include GoTalk, Telecorp, CardCall, Innovacia Medical IT Systems; and CellularVoice, operator of Australia's only platform for reverse charge calls to mobile phones.
Raised in a small town outside Newcastle in New South Wales, Matt was the youngest accepted applicant to the scholarship programme at Newcastle Grammar School at age 11. Matt's family moved to Australia's Gold Coast, where he was granted early admission to Trinity Lutheran College at age 12.
Graduating from the accelerated academic program at Trinity with majors in IT and Biology at 16, Matt went on to study at Griffith University, gaining a Bachelor of Multimedia at just 20 years old. From there, Matt was to join the ranks of some of Australia's largest telecommunications providers, before establishing his own IT consultancy, Xtol Digital, in 2001. Xtol was acquired by Salomon Goldblatt Stein Telecom in 2004.
After a rugby accident in 1994 put him in hospital for nearly a year, he recovered from severe injuries and reconstructive surgery on his hip, back, and knee. While this ended his hopes of a soccer and rugby career, Matt continued to excel in his IT career for many years, until being introduced to Agel in 2006.
Matt now specialises in teaching people to create a completely independent income using the Agel business model.
